27 Apply to be Shreveport's New Police Chief

 The city of Shreveport is one step closer to naming a new Chief of Police. In all, 27 people applied to be the new Chief. All 27 must now take and pass a civil service test. Those who pass will then move on to interviews with Mayor Cedric Glover, who will then make his choice. Here's a complete list of applicants: 1. Calvin M. Abram, Sr. SPD 2. Richard A. Police arrest suspect in stabbing

An argument between two brothers ends with a stabbing in the cedar grove neighborhood.

it happened shortly after 11 this morning at the corner of 73rd and southern avenue in shreveport.

police say 26 year old edward bouya was stabbed in the chest by his 16 year old brother.

bouya was taken to a local hospital with non- life threatening injuries..

his brother is charged with aggravated battery... His name is being with held because he is a minor..
