Sheriff's Deputy Arrested on Drug Charges

 According to the Rapides Parish Sheriff's jail docket, 38-year-old Jack Netherland, Jr. of Pineville was arrested Friday morning and charged with 45 counts of obtaining dangerous controlled substances by fraud. His occupation was identified as "Deputy" in the booking report. Bail was set at more than $335,000.
