Texarkana Hostage Situation

The four hostages are now safe and the man is in custody after an early morning stand-off. Just after five police received two phone calls from hostages inside a home in the Glen Acres Mobile Home Park, that's off on Bender Road. They learned that a black male in his mid-30's was holding four people hostage. Two of those were the owners of the home. The last hostage was released just before 8:30 A.M.

Six members of EXPLO Systems management team, including the company's president and secretary-treasurer were taken into custody without incident by Webster Parish Sheriff's deputies Tuesday afternoon. The arrests were in connection with the Oct. 15, 2012 bunker explosion at Camp Minden that was felt as far away as Arkansas.
