The City of Texarkana, Arkansas, is working to save some cash. Thanks to some help from an Energy Efficient Audit. Changes will be made to the citys street lights and traffic signals to help cut down on production cost. Heating and cooling units inside City Hall will also be replaced. City Manager, Charles Nickerson says the improvements could save about 38,000 dollars. "We have improved the quality of life for people working in building and we have money saved to pay for cost." City officials decided to go ahead with audit recommendations earlier this week.
