Claiborne Fugitive Apprehended By Authorities

A man accused of hitting a Claiborne Sheriff`s Deputy this week while fleeing from police is now in custody. According to the Sheriff`s Department, 24-Year-Old Gregg Drake was arrested around 5:00 Friday Morning in Athens, Louisiana. Officials say Drake had been on the run since he ran a stop sign and hit a truck that crashed into the injured Deputy`s patrol car. The Deputy is recovering from an operation resulting from those injuries.
