District E Meets the Mayor

By: Joe Arena
Updated: March 6, 2007
Mayor Glover and several city officials were on hand Tuesday night to hear the concerns of residents and business owners from district E. The 6th of the seven town hall meetings was held at the Summer Grove Baptist Church. One topic of discussion from some concerned residents was how to attract more business to a district that already has the infrastructure in place. The topic of police unit computers was also on the table Tuesday night. One resident told Mayor Glover he thinks the Shreveport police officers need faster computers cameras in their units, so that they won’t have to wait as long to get back on the streets when they down load information.
