Famous Musician trains Centenary Students

Centenary students have an amazing opportunity this week to study under the guidance of a world renowned music director and composer. Dr. Mack Wilberg is teaching and critiquing students this week during class and public lectures. He will be working with the choir of the First United Methodist Church in Shreveport as well.

Recently, two of Wilberg's arrangements were performed at President Ford's funeral. He also wrote the prelude to President Reagan's funeral, and a piece for the dedication of the World War II memorial in Washington D.C.

Friday, March 2nd

Featuring performance by Centenary Chorale and Centenary Choir

Sunday, March 4th
8:30 am, 11 am
First United Methodist Church Services, Head of Texas Street
Dr. Wilberg will conduct Chancel Choir

6 pm
Fireside Message, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Stake Center, 200 Carroll St, Shreveport
