Vicious Dogs Killed In Self Defense

Two vicious dogs were shot and killed Wednesday in an attempt to locate a suspected armed robber.
It happened in the 3100 block of Frederick Street.
Shreveport Police went to the neighborhood to find the suspect of a robbery that happened on July 18th.What they found was a pack of pit bulls ready to attack.
Police say, 20-year-old, Ahmad King is accused of trying to let one of the dogs loose on one of the officers; His attempt was unsuccessful.
Another man managed to let a dog go.
Public Information Officer, Kacee Hargrave says the dog grabbed the officer`s leg.
That`s when the officer fired a shot that wounded and killed it.
Caddo Animal Control was helping officers wrangle the dogs. Another was shot when it tried to attack an animal control officer.
The incident is still under investigation.
