Fire leaves local family homeless

A Shreveport family is looking for a place to stay after fire rips through their home.

The blaze broke out around 3 p.m. Thursday in the 7800 block of Pathway Loop.

When firefighters arrived the mobile home was engulfed in flames. It took nearly an hour for crews to get the fire under control.

Fire officials say no one was hurt in the blaze.

An investigation is underway to determine what may have sparked the fire.
