A man is behind bars for trying to kidnap a woman from a Shreveport casino.

The incident happened shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of Clyde Fant Parkway.

The victim told police that her ex-boyfriend George Arnold, 33, tried to grab her from behind while she was walking through the parking garage.

Arnold allegedly forced the victim into his car and drove away but the victim managed to escape the vehicle unharmed.

Arnold was booked into the Shreveport City Jail and charged with a single count of simple kidnapping.
