Local sting operations land over a dozen people behind bars

Fourteen people have been arrested for prostitution and underage alcohol sales in Shreveport.
On March 15 authorities targeted people who were engaged in prostitution activity across the city.
Seven people were taken into custody in connection with the escort operation and charged with prostitution:
- Cecil Bullock - 2240 Forest Hill - Haughton, LA
- Ronnie Coleman - 4119 Lamar St. - Shreveport, LA
- Patrick Leopold - 8445 Hwy 71 - Nada, TX
- Michael Connell - 250 Mayo Rd. - Shreveport, LA
- Glenn Weaver - 1601 Hassell Circle - Bossier, LA
- Recaro Coleman - 4430 Danny R. Wimberly - Shreveport, LA (also charged with Possession of SCH I marijuana - 2 grams)
- Jonathan Harris - 2528 Brown Circle - Bossier, LA
On March 13 Shreveport Police targeted nine businesses suspected of selling alcohol to underage customers.
Investigators found that seven establishments sold alcohol to minors resulting in seven misdemeanor arrests via summons and all were charged with selling alcohol to people under the age of 21:

- Latasha Jones - Kangaroo Express on 5725 Hearne Ave.
- Nabil Nagi - Airport Citgo on 5203 Monkhouse Dr.
- Nhyesha Shaw - Raceway on 3701 Hearne Ave.
- Anas Ali - Kennedy Fast Mart on 4250 Hollywood Ave.
- Rebecca Spilker - Merryton Inn on 5204 Monkhouse Dr.
- Bobby Boone - Plantation Inn on 4901 Greenwood Rd.
