Water main repairs may cause traffic delays

You may experience a slow commute if you drive in north Shreveport.

Friday morning a 20-inch water main blew out at the intersection of Hearne Ave. and Milam.

Crews with the Dept. of Water and Sewerage are currently working to fix the problem.

The repairs, which affect both inside lanes and half of the intersection, could take up to 12 hours.

City officials say residents and surrounding businesses may notice a decrease in their water pressure.
