Here are some comments from Monica Smith Wells on why she thinks she should be elected for Haughton Alderman:

What are your qualifications for the position? I am a lifelong resident of Haughton and the surrounding areas, I care deeply about the community and I have the ability to listen.
What do you think are the biggest challenges facing your town/city/district? To maintain the water and sewer systems and police and fire departments. With the growth of the town these services are essential. The town wants to continue these services and as an Alderman for the town I would like to be a part of this.
If elected, what will you do to help your constituents? I will work with my constituents to help make sound decisions that will benefit the community.
