Here are some comments from Doug Adams on why he thinks he should be elected for Haughton Alderman:

  • What are your qualifications for the position?  I graduated from Haughton High School in 1970 and was in the Air Force Reserves from 1970 to 1976.  I was assigned to the 917th Technical Squadron at Barksdale Air Force Base.  I have been a small business owner plus have held various management positions. I have lived in the Town of Haughton for the past 5 yrs.
  • What do you think are the biggest challenges facing your town/city/district?  The Town of Haughton with a population of 3,800 is one of the fastest growing communities in the parish of Bossier and quite possibly in Northwest Louisiana. The town has 2 public schools inside its city limits with a 3rd on the horizon. With this growth it is very important to look forward to future infrastructure.
  • If elected, what will you do to help your constituents?  The Town of Haughton has been very fortunate to have dedicated elective officials along with professional Police and Fire Departments looking after our community. I think my knowledge of the town and their people will make it easy to help and assist my constituents.
