If you live in the city of Shreveport, how do you feel about Comcast?

"It sucks. It goes off all the time and might not come back for an hour or two later," Shreveport subscriber Lane Irvin said.

That's a common complaint Shreveport City Council members hear all the time, no matter what district customers live in.

In December the 25 year contract expired.

Council is currently looking at renewing that contract of switching to another provider.

"If we think about combining resources with the Parish, their contract is up, we might be able to meet all the needs of the customers best. We'll be better for negotiating and a better outcome for the citizens of Shreveport," Mayor Cedric Glover said.
