The discussion continues for Comcast and their future in the City of Shreveport. Right now they are on a monthly contract.

"We've invested millions of dollars in the last two years all in hopes of making consistency and trying to address the problems customers have been having," Comcast's Frances Smith said.

City Council also looked at what a taxing district at the Mall Saint Vincent could be in the future. Rouse properties wants to spearhead renovations for a more modern feel. Shoppers would pay an additional one percent sales tax for purchases.

"Eighty percent would go to mall management and twenty percent would go to the city. It's expected a half a million would come in each year," Council Chairman Michael Corbin said.
