Girl Scout troops from across the ArkLaTex are setting up their booths and selling cookies.

Tuesday morning they made a stop outside NBC 6 to share how they plan, execute and achieve goals through Girl Scout Cookie sales.

Although the organization has gone through many changes in recent years, cookies remain a staple part of being a girl scout.  Madalynn Posy explains what they learn through the process.

"We plan where to put our booth because we want to have a big success and sale all the cookies we can... that money goes to all the trips that we take," said Posey.

If you need more cookies to hold you over until next year, or haven't gotten around to buying any yet, Sunday is the last day for cookies sales.
