The Department of Defense announced Monday that an airman was killed while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

Tech. Sgt. Larry D. Bunn, 43, of Bossier City, died March 7 as a result of a non-combat incident at an undisclosed base.

Bunn was assigned to the 307th Maintenance Squadron at Barksdale Air Force Base.

Bunn, a Texas native, had been with BAFB since 1987.  He was active duty for three years and then joined the Reserves in 1990.

Bunn was an Aerospace Ground Equipment technician and spent most of his time working with B-52's and A-10's.
