March for Meals moves to Festival Plaza

By: Morgan Thomas
Updated: March 11, 2013

Every year, the Caddo Council on Aging hosts a rally against senior hunger.  It's called "March for Meals."

This time, it's moving to Festival Plaza from its old location at the Caddo Courthouse.  Everyone is urged to come out and support a cause that does so much for the elderly in our area. From keeping them out of nursing homes to providing a social visit --- meals on wheels is an important local program.

The 9th Annual March for Meals is this Wednesday at noon.  Join government officials, concerned citizens and church leaders to promote the campaign to end senior's hunger.

There will be free parking available, and NFLplayer Morris Claiborne will be this year's Grand Marshal.
