If you're still hoping a dog park comes soon to Shreveport, come out and support the Dog Park Alliance tonight at Mojo's at 203 Texas St.

The organization is continuing their efforts to raise money to get the park built.  Although the Red River Waterway Commission approved $280,000 for the construction, the Shreveport mayor still has not signed off on the funding.

To help the dog park move forward, they're having a fundraiser called "Throw Me a Bone".  Doors open at 7:30 P.M., the "Bone Dancers" Band takes the stage at 8 P.M.  They'll have contests and drinks specials that go along with the dog park theme.
