Police search for suspect in Friday morning car shooting

The search is on for a vehicle involved in a shooting along Highway 3132 Friday morning.

Police say fortunately the driver who was shot at was not injured.  This all started around 2:30 A.M.

The man who was shot at called police to 3132 underneath the I-49 overpass.  The man's vehicle had several bullet holes in it.  A firearm was found on the ground.

The victim says he has no idea who came alongside him while he was driving and started shooting.  He was able to give police a description of the vehicle -- a small green vehicle was involved.
