Three area businesses cited for selling alcohol to minors

Three Bossier City stores have been issued citations for allegedly selling alcohol to people under the age of 21.
On March 6 five businesses were targeted during an undercover operation conducted by Bossier City Police.
Employees at three of those stores were issued summonses for unlawful sales to minors. Those cited were:
- Stephen Beamer, age 23, employed at Petro U.S., 5412 Barksdale Blvd.
- Taher H. Ahmed, age 31, employed at Barksdale Food Mart, 3226 Barksdale Blvd.
- Mohammed A. Saleh, age 24, employed at Twins Kwik Mart, 4609 Shed Rd.
The two businesses that were found to be in compliance with state law were the Day & Night Store on 1290 Barksdale Blvd. and Cascio's Food Mart on 2252 Barksdale Blvd.
