Teen murder suspect turns himself into police

A teenager has been locked up in connection with a deadly shooting in the Cedar Grove neighborhood.

Shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday Ravion Alford, 17, surrendered to Shreveport Police.

Alford faces a second degree murder charge in the shooting death of Chauncey Broadway.

On March 2 Broadway, 18, was shot and killed at a home in the 7000 block of Burlingame Blvd.  Three other people were injured in the shooting.

Alford was booked into the Shreveport City Jail and has also been charged with six counts of attempted second degree murder.  His bond has been set at $500,000.

A 15-year-old male has also been arrested and charged in Broadway's murder.
