Police continue their search for armed robber

Authorities are trying to track down a man who robbed a Shreveport convenience store at gunpoint.

The robbery happened on March 4 at the Circle K in the 8500 block of Youree Drive.

The suspect allegedly entered the store armed with a gun and demanded money from the clerk.  The man later fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male, standing between 5' 9" and 5' 11" tall, with a stocky build.  He also wore a distinguishable Mohawk style hairdo. 

The suspect was wearing a white T-shirt covering his face, dark jeans, brown boots and armed with a black semi automatic handgun.
