Suspect Breaks Deal with Police; Ends up Getting Self, Friend & Mother Arrested

By: Staff Writer
Updated: February 21, 2007
Three people sit in a Columbia County jail tonight surrounding a case that started out as drug charges against only one of them. Police in Waldo say Henry Ward made a deal with deputies after they found drugs on him. Ward ended up dropping out of the deal, and when police went to re-arrest him they had to take Wards mother, Nancy, in as well. Detectives say Nancy Ward tried to keep police from finding her son. The third arrest was that of Charles Sneed. During Wards re-arrest, police officers say they found Sneed hiding in a bedroom with a bag of meth and drug paraphernalia.
