The Fuller Center for Housing prepares for its groundbreaking of Veterans Build 2013.

The non-profit announced Tuesday for the four veterans who will receive new homes. The project is being funded through a $300,000 donation from rock legend, Roger Waters, a former member of Pink Floyd.

The future homeowners said they're still in shock.

"This is like amazing. It hasn't been long since I hear about it since I started the process and already they're ready to start building so its amazing to me," said Miguel Guigni.

"I am truly grateful for the help and the people that's behind this that's donating," said Larry Linnear.

Volunteers will head to the construction site at the corner of Martha and E. Olive streets on Mar. 9 to put up the frames to the new homes.  If you don't want to build a home, you can help with registering volunteers or bring lunch. Fuller Center is still in need of about 30 volunteers for Mar. 9 and unitl the homes are built. Here's a link to where you can sign up to help.

The homes are expected to be finished by June 1. Monetary donations are needed so the Fuller Center for Housing can provide affordable housing for more veterans in our community. It is trying to match Roger Water's donation. So far, it has raised nearly $37,000.
