Updated: March 5, 2013

The Shreveport Police Department wants to hear from you on what can be done to make the city safer.

You will have a chance to offer your ideas at the Neighborhood Networking Summit sponsored by SPD's Community Oriented Policing Bureau.

The event will be held between 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Thursday, March 7 at Riverview Hall on 600 Clyde Fant Parkway.

The theme for this year's conference is "Selling Shreveport" and will provide the opportunity for you to connect through community oriented policing, local businesses and educational programs for the growth of our city.

There is no cost to attend the event.
