Commissioner wants to increase gun control laws

A local commissioner wants tougher gun control laws.  Caddo Parish Commissioner Michael Williams wants to ban firearms from all parish buildings.

The law already on the books bans weapons from court facilities.  With the commission's support he wants to amend the existing ordinance.  Williams also wants to put placard signs up in all of the buildings. 

Williams is presenting the proposal at Monday's Commissioner's Court work session.
