Shooting suspect captured by U.S. Marshals

Federal authorities have arrested a man in connection with a shooting that wounded a Shreveport teenager.

Thursday afternoon LaCalvin Williams, 23, was taken into custody in Plain Dealing.

On Feb. 7 Williams allegedly shot a 14-year-old boy in the leg in the 5200 block of Kent St.  

Williams was booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Jail and charged with the illegal use of a weapon. His bond has been set at $50,000.
