It's your money and Shreveport City Council approved the next step on renovations at Mall St. Vincent.
The owner--Rouse Properties wants to create an economic development district. Shoppers would pay an additional 1% sales tax for purchases made within the district.
Tuesday night council voted unanimously to advertise the city's intention to consider creating the district. The public is invited to attend the March 12th meeting to voice their concerns.
