Community gathers to pray for Joyce Bowman

Caddo Parish Commissioner Joyce Bowman is inviting you to a special prayer vigil.

Bowman wants all of her supporters to come out and pray for her as she continues her battle with cancer.

The vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 7 at the Morningstar Baptist Church on 5340 Jewella Ave.

Missing dog gets reunited with owner
A local family woke up last week missing something, their dog. Dana Shirley of Minden reached out to NBC 6 News to share her story. She says last week their dog, Lady, was mistakenly picked up by animal control. Luckily, Lady was discovered two days later at a house across town, all thanks to Dana's son.
