Caddo Parish has got swag- thanks to a new program here in Shreveport.

The program is called Swag Nation.  It's an etiquette academy for young men with an added military component designed to tach them decency, dressing properly, and discipline.

Caddo commissioner Michael Williams says the program is long overdue.  The programs was started by retired army sergeant Dr. Kemp Washington.  He says it's a program designed to change style, I know we have a sagging problem around the country, so we are here to address that.

The etiquette academy consists of forty hour of material and it costs $100 dollars.

Missing dog gets reunited with owner
A local family woke up last week missing something, their dog. Dana Shirley of Minden reached out to NBC 6 News to share her story. She says last week their dog, Lady, was mistakenly picked up by animal control. Luckily, Lady was discovered two days later at a house across town, all thanks to Dana's son.
