Double homicide trial set for March

A March 19, 2013 trial date for the Shreveport man accused of the double homicide of his estranged girlfriend and her mother was upheld today in Caddo District Court.

Keith Martin will be tried on two counts of second degree murder for the Feb. 19, 2011, slaying of his ex girlfriend, Rashonda Taylor, and he mother, Linda Taylor. 

Martin, who had two children with Rashonda Taylor, was arrested four days after the women's bodies were found in their home in the 4100 block of Baxter Street.

The children were found in Martin's custody.
