The Caddo Sheriff's Marine Patrol has recovered a man's body from the Red River.
The body was found shortly before 9 a.m. Thursday near the riverbank across from Boom Town Casino.
Authorities say the body has not been positively identified but the person was wearing a Sheriff's Operation Safeguard identification bracelet.
The bracelets are provided by the Caddo Sheriff's Office to persons with dementia or those who are prone to wander.
The ID numbers on the bracelets correspond to personal information that helps locate the person's family if they are reported missing. Theinformation will be given to the Caddo Parish Coroner to assist with identification.
Meanwhile, investigators have been searching for a person who reportedly fell into the river on Feb. 6 after possibly being hit by a train.
