Shooting leaves Shreveport woman fighting for her life

A woman is seriously injured after being shot in the Queensborough neighborhood.

The shooting happened shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Darien Street and Exposition Avenue.

Linda Netter, 45, was shot in the upper torso and was transported to LSU Medical Center.

There are no suspects at this time but police did receive reports of a dark colored vehicle, possibly a Dodge, leaving the area shortly after the shooting.
