Bossier City Police arrested 25 year old Michael B. Barber in connection with the attempted robbery of the Chase Bank branch in the 4300 block of Barksdale Boulevard on Saturday,February 17, 2007. Also arrested by Bossier CIty Detectives 18 year old Meyoka McGee of Shreveport. McGee was believed to be the driver of the getaway car. Officials say Barber walked into the bank at approximately 11 a.m. and presented a teller with a note demanding money. The suspect did not produce a weapon however the teller told police the suspect appeared to attempt to pull an object out from his pants pocket that the teller feared was a gun. The suspect then left the bank without any money and got into an awaiting gray 4-door Mitsubishi Galant.
