Bossier City Police Officer loses his job

Bossier City Chief of Police Shane McWilliams has fired one of his own.

Russell Engi was let go Monday following an investigation based on a complaint made from within the Police Department.

After an investigation by the Police Department's Internal Affairs Division, Engi was terminated for violating department policy and procedures.

Engi had been a member of the Bossier City Police Department since 2007.
