One person injured after 18-wheeler crash in North Caddo Parish

A pick-up truck collides with an 18-wheeler causing a fuel spill near Oil City.

The accident happened shortly after 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Hwy 1 and Hwy 2.

Authorities had to close one lane of Hwy 1 while crews cleaned up the diesel.

Steve McKenna, the driver of Dodge pick-up was taken to North Caddo Medical Center with injuries.

Gary Auch, the driver of the 18-wheeler was not hurt but was ticketed for failure to yield.
