Canteloupe Recalled Amid Salmonella Fears

People on the East Coast and in Canada are being warned about cantaloupe. The Dole Fresh Fruit Company has recalled thousands of cartons of the melons after reports that they tested positive for salmonella. The tainted cantaloupe reportedly came from a farm in Costa Rica. So far no illnesses have been reported.
