Right Store, Wrong Location

Updated: February 22, 2007
The Kroger on Shreveports North Market Street has shut its doors. After 24 years of being "the right store with the right price" for hundreds of customers in the area, it officially closed Saturday, February 17. That means 50 employees have to relocate to other Kroger stores in the Shreveport - Bossier area. There are a total of five. As for customers whove relied on the store thats closing, their closest food shopping option now is Brookshires. Just before the doors closed, Kroger workers marked everything left in the store down to 20 per-cent off.
