Hundreds of senior citizens will have a Valentine's Day filled with sweet treats and good music.

Thursday the Horseshoe Casino and Hotel along with Harrah's Louisiana Downs are throwing a HERO Sweetheart Luncheon and Dance in Bossier City.

At 12 p.m. nearly 400 senior citizens will fill the Horseshoe Riverdome for the event that is given every year by casino employee volunteers.

Everyone in attendance will be dressed in red for this special Valentine's Day Celebration.

Horseshoe will also make a special check presentation to the Bossier Council on Aging in support of its Meals on Wheels program.
