Valentine's Day is less than 24 hours away, and local businesses are flooded with orders and customers.
"It's the busiest time of the year. It's Christmas rolled into one week and since it falls on a Thursday, it's going to be pack all through the weekend," Chocolate Crocodile manager Jessica Miller said.
The store has sold at least 1,600 strawberries a day since last Saturday, and the orders keep growing.
"The economy does not hurt Valentine's Day. Sales stay up. Everyone is a lover for 24 hours," Daisy a Day Florist owner Jenny Christian said.
She and her team of six designers, plus the staff have been working hard around the clock. Planning started in November and has kept growing each month.
