Charred human remains may be that of ex-LAPD cop

A week of terror in Southern California has come to an end.

Tuesday night a burned body that is believed to be former police officer Christopher Dorner was discovered in a Big Bear cabin.

Authorities have yet to confirm whether or not the remains are Dorner's. San Bernardino County officials said that identification would be attempted through forensic means.

A team of investigators had been tracking Dorner for a week after he was suspected of killing a couple and a police officer.
