Mardis Gras isn't over until midnight Tuesday, and there's still one more parade to check out in Bossier City
Every year the Krewe of Aesclepius hosts a night of Fat Tuesday festivities starting with the parade in the parking lot of Pierre-Bossier Mall. It begins at7 P.M., and last about half an hour.
"It is the end of the season after tonight. It's the night you live it up. It's the last night you can do it big - starting tomorrow Ash Wednesday you have to give something up for lint," said Brandi Brooks, President of Krewe of Aesclepius.
After the children's parade, the krewe throws a party at their den. The night ends with all of the local krewes meeting for a champagne toast on the Texas St. Bridge.
