A school bus carrying students from Haughton Middle School collides with a truck near Highway 80.

The accident happened around 3 p.m. Monday afternoon in the 300 block of Princeton Road.

Investigators say the driver of school bus #248 was traveling over a hill when she noticed a truck  stopped in the middle of the road.  When the bus driver applied the brakes and swerved to avoid hitting the truck, she hit the back of it.

One student complaining of a headache was transported to Willis Knighton-Bossier.  The other 37 students on the bus were not injured.

State Police and Bossier Parish deputies are investigating the crash.
