THE EVANGEL EAGLES HAVE BEEN FORCED TO FORFEIT 5 LEAGUES GAMES FROM THIS SEASON DUE TO INELIGIBLE PLAYERS. THE INFRACTION OCCURED WHEN THE EAGLES PLAYED SOME 7TH AND 8TH GRADERS THIS SEASON, THAT DID NOT HAVE PHYSICALS. SOMETHING THAT IS ILLEGAL IN THE LHSAA, SINCE ALL HIGH SCHOOL PLAYERS OR THOSE PLAYING ON HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS MUST HAVE THEM. THE EAGLES LOST ALL 5 GAMES THE KIDS PLAYED IN AND WILL NOW GO INTO THE PLAYOFFS AS A 4 SEED OR A WILDCARD, INSTEAD OF THE #1 SEED.
