Student being investigated for bringing gun to school

Authorities are trying to figure out why a teenager brouhgt a BB gun onto the campus of Natchitoches Central High School.

Police found the gun hidden in the gym area after school officials received a report that someone brought the weapon to school. 

The student allegedly told police he wanted to show the gun to another student.

Authorities say no criminal charges are pending at this time.
