Parti-Gras 2013 could be your ultimate one-stop Mardi Gras Parade experience

It's a brand new way to experience one of the biggest parades in the ArkLaTex. Parti-Gras 2013 is the ultimate Mardi Gras tailgating experience downtown.
The Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourism Bureau teamed up with several local partners to create an all -inclusive experience during the Krewe of Gemini Parade this Saturday.
From 1-6 P.M. PartiGras ticket-holders will enjoy food from Twine, two drink tickets, live music and even a trolley ride down the parade route.
"We really needed a way to package and sell parade day and by that I mean, let's say we have an out-of-towner and you want to come and party on the Parkway, but don't have the local know-how. Where do I park? Where am I going to find food?" said Chris Jay, Convention and Tourism Bureau Public Relations.
