Highland Parade after-party to be at Marilynn's Place

Starting after the parade Sunday, nearby Marilynn's Place is hosting their 2nd annual Mardi Gras Bash.

Located on Fern Avenue, the hispter diner is known for its twist on Cajun cooking.  You can check out live music, and try their famous beignets, jambalaya, and a crawfish boil.

They're cool vibe goes hand-in-hand with the highland parade that's prides itself on being a little more laid back.

Missing dog gets reunited with owner
