Oil spill closes eastbound lanes of I-220 at I-20

Bossier City police are on the scene of a single vehicle rollover crash on I-220 eastbound at I-20 involving a one ton pickup truck that was carrying about 300 gallons of waste oil. A portion of the waste oil spilled onto the roadway. A man and woman riding in the truck have been taken to a local hospital with what are described as non-life threatening injuries. As a result of the crash, both eastbound lanes of I-220 at I-20 are closed until crews clear the scene and clean up the oil. In the meantime eastbound traffic on I-220 is being detoured onto Highway 80.
